lets just keep our dignity here and refrain from name calling and letting rags get to us over this. we did nothing wrong to him so we can keep our heads held high. i dont think he is replacable but i really hope we can get somebody of outstanding ability who can be just as effective.

im gutted, he is a special player. we have to concentrate more than ever though now and not let it get to us on the field.
course he's replaceable........much as i love carlos any player is replaceable unless your the rags who don't have the ability to replace players that leave through lack of funds!!! we just go to the striker department of harrods and buy a new one while the rags are still scrambling there way through the bargain bins at poundland still looking for another ronaldo but ending up with another bebe ha ha.

Really pisses me off how we so regularly are not able to enjoy a good win because of sh!t like this. Either the media does something to wind us up or the players themselves pull a stunt like this.

Couldn't agree more. Since the brumm game at home we've been brilliant on the pitch, yet all the talk has been off the field stuff.

I don't suppose we'll care too much if the on the pitch stuff takes us to long absent achievements while some wankers moan about off pitch shite :-)

sorry bob I just said summat naughty about that Neil ashton twat who clearly wishes us nothing but bad :-(

yeah. the journos want it to boil over and make us lose focus. they said as much on sunday suppliment. i cant be bothered massaging their ego's to be honest. stay strong pal. joint top of the league ;-)

At the end of the day football is just a game of 90 minutes and there are more important things in life such as children and family. If he is having problems here and is seriously struggling without his family then let him go.

He has been a top player for us and we can easily replace him with either Aguero, Benzema, Torres etc.........

I dont think he would want too leave for a club such as Real Madrid hes not that kind of guy and if you do decide to move on Carlos then i thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you have done for this club!

Half of our fans are sounding like the rag scum with the Rooney saga sort it out lads and be grateful for what we have!

Just back from West Ham, great day out with the blue army. Anyway, i've got a few little connections in the media through the work i do Mon - Fri. Not common knowledge as it's pretty mundane but never the less they are good folk.

This is what i have heard today from a very decent source.

The owners/chairman etc. were more than disgusted with the way Carlos acted last week when he was subbed against Bolton and have backed Mancini 100%. If there is a choice between Mancini and Tevez then the boss will get the owners backing 100% (see the Brian Kidd interview on MOTD on Saturday and read between the lines). Kidd's answers were very much pre-meditated and well thought out.

When Mancini said that there were certain players who were selfish against Bolton, he was having a pop at one man, Mr Tevez. And he wanted some sort of selfish reaction to prove his point, you all heard what the reaction was this evening with the transfer request. This request (delivered days ago) was what the owners thought might happen if the player concerned thought he was much bigger than the club, and more importantly, the player could get rid of the man who rules the club with an iron fist (Mancini)

Today we beat West Ham with ease and, without Tevez. This was the best result the owners and Mancini could have asked for. If we had lost then Carlos would have still been number one, and we couldn't operate without him, however, those 3 goals could be the most important in our recent history.

The owners see a stable Mancini as the future of this club. An unstable Carlito is something that they will move along, and out of the door without much fuss (see Robinho). The sad thing is, Carlos will never have a better marriage than the one he has now.

why doesn't he just quit football if it's to do with kids/family......no need to request a transfer is there if he doesn't want one?....anyway still hasn't been confirmed as to what's going on yet.

1. It's probably true unfortunately. If it isn't then City MUST take action.

2. If it is true City will have known for a while

3. Our owners will have a plan B for January

Mancini clearly has a style that upsets some players BUT he has got us playing organised clever football for the first time in decades. Look at the rags...doesn't matter who plays its Baconface that is the difference.

I really hope Tevez stays but if its Tevez or Mancini then it's thanks and goodbye to Tevez.

The really interesting thing is that the club are not taking this lying down with the timing of the release of the video. That video was done 8 games ago as it refers to being 25% of the way through the season but they release it now. City will fight this.

The next thing to come out of the club will be fascinating either way and it's got to be Sunday.
