Carlos Tevez Announces Retirement From Football

Loved his tenacity, work rate,he played like I tried to play at 5 a side ! He was a warrior, leader, was so pleased when he returned to get us over the line in 2012.

A legend, in so many ways, and he played a huge role in getting the club to where it is now, letting everyone know that the "noisy neighbours" were finally a force to be reckoned with.

I've got many happy memories of watching Tevez play, but I think Norwich away in 2012 stands out the most. Him and Kun put on an absolute masterclass in that game, still one of the greatest strike partnership displays I've ever seen.

Thanks for everything Carlos and enjoy your retirement.

setting aside the off-field stuff, he was a fantastic player and without doubt helped get us to where we are today.
Funny, the RDAHMeedya are making out that the MANUre star has retired. Oh, yeah, he played a few games for us, nearly twice as many as he played for the Rags but, hey ho, what do we know!

Brilliant player always played his heart out and gave his all when on the pitch.

Where the Welcome to Manchester billboard was has been recently demolished so no matter what it will forever be Carlito’s Corner for most Blues.
He was a brilliant player and prophetically gave us a formative glimpse of where we were going. When he fucked off I was proper pissed off and never really forgave him and never will, he discredited the club - can’t forgive nor forget that, he was being paid plenty - I found money to watch City when I was on my arse. I drew a line and appreciated the footballer.
No matter what though, one of my (match going) rag mates at work loves singing our Carlos song to me:
You Argie twat you ugly **** they’ve sowed your head on back to front.
Carlos Tevez has got Herman Munster’s head.
It still makes me chuckle because I remember singing it!
