Not last season he didn't. He was all over the fucking place & missed with plenty of lunges.

Defenders who don't make last ditch tackles aren't defenders. There has never been a top defender who didn't, just a load of utter mythical bullshit written about it.

And Bayern plus Dortmund got to the final of the Champions League because they out worked Real & Barca, not because they have better players.

If Pellegrini has a lot of attacking players in his team, they will have to work lie fuck or we will win nothing. Tevez would be ideal for our squad next season.

He isn't clinical enough. He shoots from everywhere.

Did we do better with him last year, or better the previous year, without him?

Better the previous year, with him.

For 6 games?

Clutching at straws.

He can be a match winner, but too often is too selfish.

Get the supply right for Sergio and he will score a bucket full next year.

No he couldn't Tevez is the worse finisher of our forwards, his shots per goal is the highest. Bayern team is hardly full of work horses their squad is incredibly talented. Btw Barca is one of the hardest working team in the world, they simply make it look easy how hard everyone in that team works to win the ball back is amazing.

Agreed, aesthetically pleasing in the English league, will free up mega wages and possibly improve us after he's gone. Perfect.

He is also the best allround player amongst our strikers & contributes twice as much to the overall play as Aguero & Dzeko as well as scoring plenty of goals.

He basically did the job Silva & Nasri failed to do last season.

-- Fri Jun 21, 2013 1:02 am --

How can you be agreeing with that ? You said workrate was bollocks a minute ago.

My viewpoint is that work rate is massively overrated in the English game. Tevez doesn't contribute enough to our moves. He isn't creative. He shoots from anywhere and has an awful shots to goal ratio.
He pleases the English fan as he runs about a lot and dives in trying to get the ball.
In our league, every charged down clearance gets a massive cheer.
Tevez doesn't have the end product to justify a place in our side.

Fernandino Barry(or other)

Navas Silva Isco

Aguero

Work ethic dont have to be work horses, too many of ours go missing dzeko yaya nasri etc Totally agree on the Barca point.
As for tevez i disagree shots per goal doesnt do anything for me too many variables did he miss was it blocked/saved etc as far as i can see all our strikers have a similar shots on target record.

No end product from Tevez.

With the 2012/13 campaign now done and dusted, it’s time to reflect on the season as a whole from a statistical point of view in this week’s list…

Goals scored – Carlos Tevez

Taking the Community Shield out of the equation, Carlos Tevez scoops a second category win with 17 strikes in all competitions. Sergio Aguero grabbed 16, and Edin Dzeko completes City’s striking trio in third with 15 goals. However, it was the Bosnian frontman who came out on top in terms of league goals – all but one of his tally came in the Premier League.

Shots – Carlos Tevez

At the end of a fantastic season for his personal stats, Carlos has also recorded the most shots on goal in all competitions. His 101 shots is two ahead of Edin Dzeko’s total of 99, and the Argentinian also converted two more shots into goals than the number 10. Coincidence?!

Assists – David Silva, Carlos Tevez

With ten assists apiece, David Silva shares this award with the statistical man of the moment. Carlos set up both goals in the away victory at Arsenal in January, while Merlin’s assists proved vital in the home win over Chelsea.

Apps 107 Goals 58.

What an absolute pile of steaming, hairy, complete and utter, ill informed, clueless, bollocks you have been spouting.
