Manchester City gave to Milan a priority option to buy Tevez until 30th June. If Milan won't bid, very likely Tevez could move to Juventus

Yaya over Barry

My bad, forgot Yaya! Bedtime methinks!

No end product from Tevez.

With the 2012/13 campaign now done and dusted, it’s time to reflect on the season as a whole from a statistical point of view in this week’s list…

Goals scored – Carlos Tevez

Taking the Community Shield out of the equation, Carlos Tevez scoops a second category win with 17 strikes in all competitions. Sergio Aguero grabbed 16, and Edin Dzeko completes City’s striking trio in third with 15 goals. However, it was the Bosnian frontman who came out on top in terms of league goals – all but one of his tally came in the Premier League.

Shots – Carlos Tevez

At the end of a fantastic season for his personal stats, Carlos has also recorded the most shots on goal in all competitions. His 101 shots is two ahead of Edin Dzeko’s total of 99, and the Argentinian also converted two more shots into goals than the number 10. Coincidence?!

Assists – David Silva, Carlos Tevez

With ten assists apiece, David Silva shares this award with the statistical man of the moment. Carlos set up both goals in the away victory at Arsenal in January, while Merlin’s assists proved vital in the home win over Chelsea.

Apps 107 Goals 58.

What an absolute pile of steaming, hairy, complete and utter, ill informed, clueless, bollocks you have been spouting.

Back in from work, hence I haven't replied until now.
Stats are always good, but as you were shown by the next poster, they were incorrect.
Carlos is obviously a great player and carried us for a while 3 years ago.
Last season he ran around a lot, shot a lot and scored less than Edin.
He also occupied the space that Silva and Nasri use, negating their attacking threat.
We scored far less last season with him in the side. Therefore, free up wages, improve the goal tally and get a fee for a player entering the last year if his contract.

Thanks for 3 years ago, Carlos, see ya!

Hell of a job to replace Tevez. Like losing 3 players.

Only suarez for workrate would replace Tevez imo.

Jonathan Walters? Paul Dickov?

Work rate takes you so far, skill and brainpower takes you further.
Work rate is vastly overrated in the British game.
Argentina seems to do ok without him, as will we.

Thank you. I am so tired of the work rate argument. He has the same work rate as Milner. Would it take 3 players to replace Milner? No. Once you drop work rate, he is an above average striker.

To be fair, Tevez was important when we could only attract certain players. We had to accommodate players with no work rate, eg Robinho and Johnson.

Work rate is only an important stat if you don't have enough. We now can attract players with skill, intelligence and enough work rate to create excellent team pressing. We do not need a striker with massive work rate, but lacking in intelligence.
Aguero,Isco, Silva and Navas will all press in their own zones on the pitch, creating a pressing game like the Spanish employ. We can now afford to replace Carlos' triffic work rate with more intelligent footballers.

Ancelotti's first target at Real will be Tevez, according to Sky Italia

If theyre after Tevez, that leaves Real aloooot of free money for other players (compared w cavani or bucktooth)
