So Juve and City hold a meeting this morning, it goes well.

Juve send a delegation over here to discuss and finalize the move.

Reports that it could be agreed just hours later.

Why can't even rumors and speculation about us be that straightforward?

That looks straightforward to me..Jeez, you can hardly buy a £20k house in less than a week

Ole in Argentina is claiming the transfer has been agreed. But I'd wait for word from Sky Italy or City/Juventus.

If he does go, we NEED a striker considering Mario left in January, Aguero can pick up injuries and the bad Dzeko can turn up from time to time.

Yep, we selling him for 10 million. distaster of transfer.

We sell cheap, buy expensive.

It's a great bit of business for us.

In the immediacy, we would be £20m up straight away, the £10m fee and also the saving on his £10m a year wages.

Subsequently, most new signings have a contract duration between four and five years.

In simple terms, that's another £40m a year we now have at our disposal to do what we want with.

Carlos leaving is worth £60m revenue back to us in spending power and wages over the next five years.

That's not even including the £20m for Mario and his wages.

Yeah, it was this morning when Tevez to Juventus news appeared, we never heard them few weeks ago.
And from a telephone conference this morning to a reported deal agreed this afternoon.

Might want to read it again before you get sarcastic, or better yet ignore my posts like you claim you will...

Really?

Because I'd have thought that with Shakhtar refusing to lower the fee for a number of weeks, that would have made it quite the opposite?

Getting a 29 year old striker who earns about 200k/a week...with just a few years left at the top and probably his best years behind him. With a 10m+ transfer fee aswell. Good business IMO.
