Carlos Tevez

Torres, seriously?

The guy is finished at the top now, racks up his goal tally against weak European sides or Championship sides in the Cups, every now and then he might pop up with an important goal and everyone deems him as back to his best... then he goes on a goal drought.

Not forgetting he is 29.

15 goals in 82 league games is shocking.

Hopefully the deal is done.

Setting aside the arguments over the fee and how good he was/is, who will we target as a replacement

I think we still have an interest in Cavani, though his Uruguay performances make you wonder whether he may have a problem replicating his Napoli form elsewhere.

Benteke? Michu?

I expect Pellegrini will be looking at a Spanish/Portuguese or South American player(s). You buy what you know.

And what about Dzeko. Even with the arrival of Navas, I still don't see Dzeko fitting in with Aguero.

Not to get too off topic but I would be shocked if we even enquired about villa, he's getting past it and his wage demands are way too high for what he's offering. Let levy overpay the fool.

We'll replace tevez it just seems like we(fans) have no idea who it will be. Lots of options.

Best of luck Carlos, enjoy Turin

Question.

Has El Pache really gone, or is it another........(fill in as appropriate)

Torres - same age as Tevez, similar wage bracket, 1 Premier League goal between December and May. It'd be the most pointless transfer ever. Someone younger and with hunger to achieve things. Torres has won everything.

Good riddance, even though he gave it all on the pitch, I could never look at him the same after Munich.
