There's a highlight montage (great word I know) of 5 or 6 Tevez goals being shown on sky sports Italia every 15 minutes tonight. Then followed by one or two goals from Higuan with statements inbetween. No idea what they are saying as I'm an English pig who speaks one language but guessing it would suggest Tevez is close and Higuan is still an option.

5/6 goals to Tevez, 1/2 to Higuain. I get the same feeling.

Juve are going to be stronger next season.

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta confirmed that the Italian Serie A champions are in contact with Carlos Tevez in an attempt to sign the Argentine striker.

Marotta said Juventus could have some meetings with Tevez's team.

"It is clear that at this stage of the season agents step forward and I will not rule out a meeting in that sense. We could reach an agreement with them, but then we'd have to strike a deal with his club too."

"He wants to make up for lost time, as his years at Manchester City were not the best. We have not made any approach towards the English club," he said.

Marotta dropped hints that Juventus could sign Tevez ahead of Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Higuain.

"Higuain is younger and is therefore worth more on the transfer market. Tevez is certainly an easier negotiation process, as his contract expires next summer," he said.

"We are trying to strengthen the attack for next season, so that is our primary objective. We're after players who suit our manager's style of play," he said.

Again the mainland European clubs show no respect towards our club. It really is a disgrace. I am so proud that we never talk shit about others.

We're not as arrogant as they all are and they do not do as much charity/community work as we do

YCMIU

This from the club whose manager, at this point last year, was having his house raided by police before being banned for match-fixing.

I had been wanting him to stay most of the season but I think he's lost his scoring touch. Just hasn't had the effect this season that he's had previously. I don't expect that he will get better with his age. I think it's best to move him on and save money on his wages.

I know it was a friendly but I though he was fantastic tonight err... this morning this afternoon, this evening... depending on where the hell you are?!?
Trying to impress new Teams or new Manager??

I hope he signs a one year extension and plays another season.. but then again, we'd stand to lose both him and Aguero at the same time come summer 2014

I honestly really don't want to lose him.

He might have lost his scoring ability, but my word the amount of great build up play and creativity goes and comes through him is unreal.

He would still get into any team in the world in my opinion, maybe not as a striker but definately as a creative number 10.

I've always thought we would be his last European club before he heads back to Argentina so I can't see him signing anywhere else in a long term deal, I would offer him a 1 year extension at least

His wages need to one down though, and that would be the same if he was to sign for Juventus say for example! 200k a week is too much for an attacking midfielder, although a very very good one.

It'd be great if he stayed but the economics aren't in our favour. Even if he signs a new deal he'll want to go home eventually and those clubs won't pay anywhere near what we'd get for him now. And then there are the wages.

He is a way more better attacking midfielder than Silva or Nasri. If it wasn't for the money I'd let both go and keep Tevez.
