Hope we get Van Persie money for him.

No chance, be lucky to get 15mil.
£15m would be fair, imo.

We paid £24M for Nasri and he was in his last year.

we are little wise up now due to FFP (which will go to shit within 1 year!)... Monaco are new, ambitious and their billionaire is ready to spend some dough!

Can't see why we can't get £16-19M for him tbh... He is a beast on the pitch, scores and seriously one of our best players this season! A True match winner.

You are also forgetting 2 things... we sold Mario during the Jan window for £20M to ACMilan... (the most stingy, penny hogging team in the world)...

and secondly, but most importantly, Txiki and Ferran are at the helm of the negotiations...

I would like to see Tevez stay as he as mentioned is a quality player, however as we all know he wants to finish his career at Boca and with not long left on his contract we may have to sell to get a good fee on him, otherwise we let his contract run down and allow him to go to Boca to finish his career

We overpaid for Nasri. I know what Monaco are. Tevez has only scored 17 goals this season having spent months of last season playing golf in Argentina, leaving him with a measly 4 goals for the season.

Unlike RvP, Tévez is past his peak imo. £15m is fair for this 29-year-old with only a year left in his contract.

Fair enough as its your own opinion... but imo its a good thing you are not sat in the negotiations and it's Txiki and Ferran! :)

No way we sell for 15m, Van Persie is injury prone and had a great season and sold for 24m. Nasri the same price.

The thing with Tevez is Monaco, PSG and Juventus want him. Most likely a French outfit will buy due to wages but we are in good position imo.
@joehannes, 17 goals when he's played as second striker come attacking midfield is a good return. He's assisted a few as well which furthers his stock.

One of our best players this season, shaped up since what happened last season and even then we don't know what fully happened, no one on here or any man city fan of any stature knows what really happened with last season.

You can never deny the effort and determination when he's been playing this year and for most of the time he has played since being with us. If you clone a full outfield team of Carlos then your winning everything most of time.

To slag the guy off is wrong, and when he does go we'll notice it because no one on our team runs around like he does, to Carlos there's never a lost cause.

Regardless of what happens I am happy he came to City and wish him and his family all the best.

His attitude and work rate this season have gone a long way into winning back a bit of my respect for him. If he is to leave in the summer then thanks for the effort and some great goal.

Let's hope with only a year remaining on his current deal we still get a good fee for him. Tevez is worth a good £20M - £25M at least and Mr Monaco has the money to pay it.

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta confirmed that the Italian Serie A champions are in contact with Carlos Tevez in an attempt to sign the Argentine striker.

Marotta said Juventus could have some meetings with Tevez's team.

"It is clear that at this stage of the season agents step forward and I will not rule out a meeting in that sense. We could reach an agreement with them, but then we'd have to strike a deal with his club too."

"He wants to make up for lost time, as his years at Manchester City were not the best. We have not made any approach towards the English club," he said.

Marotta dropped hints that Juventus could sign Tevez ahead of Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Higuain.

"Higuain is younger and is therefore worth more on the transfer market. Tevez is certainly an easier negotiation process, as his contract expires next summer," he said.

"We are trying to strengthen the attack for next season, so that is our primary objective. We're after players who suit our manager's style of play," he said.
