Carlos Tevez

If Milan get Tevez for a transfer of €8m and €4m a year wages (around €80k a week) that would be bargain of the Summer if true.

Will Tevez drop his wages that low though? If he is willing to go on €80k a week wages then we have to keep him.

Galliani: “His wages? There will be no problems with Tevez.”

We have a new wage policy, and 4.5m is basically top cheddar right now for us

If he were to take €80k/week in wages, his signing-on fee would be big to make up for the wage cut.

Will apparently be performance based escalators.

Also:

Gazzetta tomorrow says "Milan guaranteed tevez"

and Juve based Tuttosport says "Tevez is Milan's... Juve, what are you doing?"

Is that euros? €4.5m is around €80-€90k a week.

Tevez is currently on around £190k a week, around £9,880,000m a year - in euros: €11,613,940m

That's one huge drop from €11,613,940m to €4,500,000m

Yep, euros.
It is a huge drop, but that's our policy now... And Tevez seems to be ok with that for some reason.. I'm sure there's some backhanded stuff that goes on, or escalators... or something.

Lifetime pass to Berlu's mansion parties?

Anyone else feel like we might be 'selling' Tevez (proven world class striker) to Milan for (knowing them cheap bastards) less than £10m and then Milan will try and milk us for £40m for El Shaarawy (yet to be proven)?

Crafty bastards that lot and wouldn't be the first or second time they'll have got the best end of the deal between us.
If we offload him to AC Milan that's a result as far as I am concerned. His game has declined considerably. It wasn't injury, form or disillusionment. he was giving everything as he always does, but wasn't able to get that bit of space in the penalty area to get shots away. Other City forwards struggled too, but I think in Tevez case, it's irreversible. Good midfielder though.

I think you might be right though. There could be an El Shaarawy angle to this.

His game has declined ? Jesus fucking Christ,I'm going to bed and not logging back on till fuckin August, hopefully I would have stopped shaking my head by then
I don't think his game declined as such.. I just think the team doesn't revolve around him anymore like it used too. He was our only outlet a few years ago.

If that happens I am going to mental, if he is willing to drop to those wages we might as well keep, we have to keep him.

Bargain of the Summer if it happens and we will look a joke.

You can see the headlines now, Tevez leaves his £200k a week behind in Manchester to play for Milan for €80k a week and Milan get him him for €8m.

^^ haha, well let's wait and see what the numbers end up being before anyone goes crazy (in a good way or bad way)

But if he comes here, theres no way he's getting more than 4.5-5m, noone makes more than 4 on our team. policy in place
