I don't understand how Adebayor is not rated on here, or why everybody seems to think he does not have a good work ethic.
He is one of the foremost strikers in the world (always high on the Castrol rankings for efficient play), let alone our league, and just because he does not chase down every patently lost ball does not mean he is lazy. As much as anything the use of energy should be efficient, there are not many players in the world who can run like Tevez/Rooney et al- i'd rather players expend it at the most effective time. And lets set another thing straight; how many proper chances did we have against Liverpool? 3. 2 created by Adebayor out of nothing and one which was incorrectly decided offside (not that it mattered) made by Ireland but involving Adebayor; now I pose the question, why did I not see his name as one of our 'better players' on the day amongst the forum threads?
This negative trend seems to apply to every player we have; I don't think people will be happy whatever the players do.
