I think if you’re in the limelight and you batter your boyfriend and twat him over the head with a lamp, you deserve abuse. Had it been a man doing that to his missus he’d have been stoned to death. Certainly don’t think for one second she deserves to die, sickening to think what position she was in to do such a thing and absolutely terrible for her family and friends. I wouldn’t blame social media for this though

Its got fuck all else with everybody else and they have no right to abuse her

If someone does something wrong, very wrong in fact then they rightly get told. Had she been the victim in the incident there would have been a different reaction let me tell you. Social media can be toxic, on this occasion it hasn’t been. She committed the crime, face the consequences.

No chance of a trial now though. So still only alleged.

Well it is fair to say that the police were not called to their house because he twatted himself over the head with a lamp, but she would have got a slap on the wrists and could actually have used her fame and social media presence for a good cause if convicted, appealing to victims of domestic abuse to come forward etc. As with all suicides though she could not have been ina good place and rationale thought cannot be reached. Shame all round

I’ve been sympathetic towards her and her family. I’m just not having one bit that this is social media’s fault.

It is a contributing factor. She literally said that she’d present, feel good about herself, then go home and scroll through abuse about her appearance.

Who in god’s name does that to someone? What happened to kindness?

There’s a quote doing the rounds about people commenting on her social media calling her fat/ugly etc. when she was presenting.

She said on it that she felt good and then would go home and read it all and then not be okay.

I fucking despise social media.

In domestic violence cases the police and CPS are encouraged to take on victimless prosecutions, as so many domestic cases involve a hidden background of abuse or previous violence before the one that comes to their attention and leads to police being called.

Another example of likeable celebrities who expect and receive better treatment than they should. Gazza, best, Ant from the Geordie duo. They commit crimes, behave like tossers and get called out for it, then have an army of weird fans leaping to their defence, if it was your bin men doing the same it would be different. No one should want to kill themselves. It’s a real shame, not the media’s fault though. If a man battered his missus then topped himself there wouldn’t be this reaction.
