Another example of likeable celebrities who expect and receive better treatment than they should. Gazza, best, Ant from the Geordie duo. They commit crimes, behave like tossers and get called out for it, then have an army of weird fans leaping to their defence, if it was your bin men doing the same it would be different. No one should want to kill themselves. It’s a real shame, not the media’s fault though. If a man battered his missus then topped himself there wouldn’t be this reaction.

I'm not a fan of hers, weird or otherwise. I don't know if she is/ was likeable or not nor do i know if she expected better treatment than a binman for example. You've obviously paid more attention and have a better insight into her mentality.

I’m going to get a bit of kickback on this point but I don’t care as I believe in speaking one’s mind... A man beating a woman is worse. I don’t condone what she did nor any woman who is violent towards a man, they deserve prosecution by the criminal justice system but I still do not think a woman hitting a man, generally speaking, is as bad.

It’s a tragedy when anyone takes their own life. As a victim of sustained domestic abuse by a female partner I was quite angry at some of the reporting of this incident before Christmas and it brought back some difficult memories. One newspaper reported the alleged assault, “5 foot Fleck is accused of assaulting her 6 foot boyfriend”. The inference was clear. The reporting seemed to be very sympathetic to Flack and I reminded me very much of my own experience.

Anyway, as I said it’s a tragedy when someone takes their own life and my thoughts are with her family and friends.
