Carroll's ban upheld

Was a red card - the intent was there and it was more luck than judgement that made him miss his face and knock his hairband instead. The fact that the Swansea defender then acted the **** doesn't alter the decision one bit, just makes him look a bit of a dick.
The way West Ham have handled this has been petty and the fact that Gold turned around and said they wouldn't have appealed had they been mid table and safe tells you all you need to know.

They should have banned Nolan as well, just for being Nolan.
And ban Allardyce from existing.
west ham need to fuck fatsam off, westham used to be a team full of flair and attractive football, now I wouldn't miss them if they got relegated, fucking horrible team to watch, run by dickheads and carrol as the star player, fucking criminal.
When was the last time West Ham were a team full of flair and attractive football? I'm sure it wasn't Allardyce who dismantled that style all on his lonesome!

Exactly mate. I've been season ticket holder for 15 years now and with a fully fit team we actually play really good football. As shown last season we was not the long ball team everyone said we were just because Allardyce was in charge. Away to teams like Chelsea we defend for our lives and rough them up, and piss off the likes of Mourinho. I like what Sam has installed in this west ham, were tougher to break down (unless it's city) and we get stuck in and show a bit of pride. Injuries have hampered our football this season but overall I'm still a happy hammer thx to big Sam

Markt85, you seem like a sound guy but comments like this worry me about the accuracy of my Character judgement.

To answer a question you raised earlier about who if not Sam. Could you have not given Curbishley another stab? Personally I think a club like West Ham would be good for someone like Steve Cotterill maybe, but to be honest for me anyone but BFS oh and Sparky Hughes, possibly the two worst managers in the Prem. Gustavo Poyet was another that was available and would have done well!! IMO 8:))

Possibly the post of the thread. Of course he meant to do Flores. The ball was well away at the time, and Carroll wasn't using his arms as ''leverage'' while he was jumping.

Big Sam has came in got us promoted , top 10 finish , made some brilliant signings and with a fit team we are a match for anyone and play good football. For what reason would I rather Hughes or Poyet ?

If it's just a personality thing then fine , but even still I like the fact he's a stubborn bastard and takes no crap from the fans and media

Fair play to your last point. However can I make one point absolutely clear? No way on gods earth would I suggest Mark Hughes would be good enough to manage the local Afan Lido boys under 11 team, never mind a quality side like West Ham. Poyet on the other hand has done well and plays good football! Again IMO 8:))

Unbelievable ,only the useless FA could cock up 3 times, I wonder what has the FA offered West Ham in order for them to withdraw the threat.
