No he didn't. Hughes was never in the frame except in Kenyons feavered imagination. Abramovich wouldn't have gone anywhere near Hughes especially as he had Scolari signed up before he got rid of Grant. Its just that Roman neglected to tell Kenyon or pretty much anyone else for that matter.

Well if you take in to account the fact that sven spent around 40 million hughes has spent 80+ million, which is a total of 120 million in investment improving the team. And Pearces team is doing better than hughes team, Pearce compared to Hughes looks like a fucking tactical genius, now that is really fucked up.
