CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Basically yes, rags, Arsenal and Scousers they are the ones behind this, no doubt whatsoever about that.

Why would the PL want to join us in court and fight together in not wanting anything to be made public?

They are under huge pressure from the Yank clubs.

Mate, they are the premier league. Why do you think United and Liverpool could interview Masters for his job, and orchestrated the hateful 8.

The yank-owned clubs are probably just looking to engineer a pretext to flounce and join ESL. Not sure about the position of the German or Italian clubs, but here and in Spain the great historical clubs have reached the limit on their credit cards.

Don't underestimate our influence and others like Villa and Everton, there is a growing realisation of what FFP means to ambitious clubs.

The Yanks and for that matter us made a major error in their tactics in trying to set up the Euro Super League, the Yanks got that very, very wrong, it was a huge wake up call for the other clubs and a reality check.

We didn't try to set up the ESL. We agreed to join when it had been set up.

The Appeal Court lists the various judgments around keeping the case private - including the Mail's getting the right to attend the appeal hearing.

Looks like we're paying the PL over half a million quid for their legal costs.

But I can't actually see the "merits judgment" that we wanted to keep private. But the publication (privacy) judgment says that because any future arbitration would be heard by independent arbitrators, the possibility of adverse comment would not be prejudicial to City (even if damaging to reputation) - but doesn't that mean the club is free to say in public what it likes about how crap the PL case is?
