CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Talksport is not a serious broadcaster that's the point I am making.

What Simon says is probably simple, he is playing to the masses , he has to.
I think you're maybe missing my point.

Although you or I might not consider it a serious broadcaster, it's the most listened to sports radio station in the world.

The people who listen to radio 4 probably understand what's really happened with FFP, so they're not really the people we need to reach.

It's the average fan that's misinformed about City and FFP. They're misinformed because people like Simon Jordan and the tabloid hacks are their opinion leaders, and they're misinformed.

My point is, we need to be more assertive in informing the opinion leaders on the truth. That then has an impact on the masses, which in turn makes things better for us as fans, and for the club.

Sorry but trying to educate the idiots listening to talksport is impossible and as said earlier irrelevant.

Talksport is car crash radio, and anyone who takes it seriously should not be listening to it, it's an entertainment station nothing more.

The likes of the BBC is the one's the club should go hard on.

Unfortunately the general public who are interested in football is largely made up of "idiots" who listen to Talksport.

If you want to change hearts and minds, you have to reach them.

I think they claim to be the biggest sports station in the world but I suspect that is a lie.. like most other things they report,

No you don't, those types will always have the view we are dirty cheats funded with oil money.

Your wasting oxygen worrying about people like that and they are stealing it.

Can you name another sports radio station?

5Live is news/politics until 7pm every weekday so I don't think they'd consider themselves sports radio.

There are plenty across the world. For example a quick Google check shows there at least five digital streaming sports channels in China with audiences well into the hundreds of millions. I just think it is the sort of boast made by Talksport that is based on zero evidence. They may be the biggest in the UK but that's not saying a lot. I would imagine Indian cricket is well covered on the Asian sub-continent as well.
