CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Far more so really, as the rest of the big clubs aren't fans of the PL. Who knows, internal national football politics may mean that the G14 aren't the only side to take.
Depends also on what our objectives are. Do we want to change or destroy from within. Our enemies need dealing with whichever way we choose.
Is it possible the non PL Leagues are really wanting some sort of financial parity with the PL so there are many divides as well as a possibly not so unified g##.

Good point.
So you think the more damaging to UEFA the better at this stage?
If so do you think any of the media will change their view despite it being a less appealing message for the fans?
I dont think the media will change their mind, but Ceferin has to persuade the Uefa exec that, without changes, Uefa will lose the support of the majority of clubs that are not in the magic circle. To that end, City need to work within the ECA to persuade those clubs to agitate for reform and less influence for the G14.

About time, weve tried turning the other cheek and as with most bullies they will keep coming back always go for the ones who dont put up a fight.
Don't want to be a party pooper but I don't think it is quite time to be popping the champagne corks on this matter just yet. The MEN headline says critics could face action, and the article itself says 'the matter has now been referred to our legal team to see if there is a course of action we can take to redress the balance'. So i'm not getting too excited at the moment.

That's pretty much exactly as I see it. The main thing is British media isn't necessarily as important as it thinks it is.

Pep Guardiola on #PL rivals' CAS involvement: “Opponents always deserve my respect and credit. I have all the respect for what Arsenal are on the pitch, not much off the pitch – but on the pitch, a lot.”

#ManCity believe Arsenal were the prime movers behind a joint letter sent by eight Premier League clubs to CAS, in which they argued that any attempt by City to delay a Uefa ban while their appeal was ongoing should be dismissed. [

The belief at #ManCity is that Arsenal and Liverpool were behind the plot. City also suspect they were involved in a group call between clubs to plan their next move after CAS had overturned the ban.

Pep's not going to hang around if he ends up having to defend himself and the club or play politics in every press conference. Txiki and Soriano should know that.

I was hoping for more than a bit of bitching in the press and empty litigation threata when we were promised a reaction post-CAS.
