If you didn't know, they were emails and other documents that Der Spielgel released from the same treasure trove of stolen data that UEFA thought was quite alright to use.

This report talks about ”tax avoidance “.. I’m no tax expert but I think tax avoidance is legal… it is not illegal to exploit a loophole in a law/ rule,.. it is up the the authority to ensure there are no loopholes that can be exploited

The Rags pay virtually no tax in the UK and have not done for decades. They also invest virtually nothing in the local community. It is legal but not very ethical and they never get called out for it.
This - if it is us, it's mind-boggling stupidity.

I prefer to put it this way. It isn't us, because it would be mind-bogglingly stupid for a club so under scrutiny to be doing this, and our management team aren't mind-bogglingly stupid.
