CAS judgement: UEFA ban overturned, City exonerated (report out p603)

Agree fully. It sounds odd to say it, especially in the immediate aftermath, but UEFA aren’t really the enemy here are they.
A minor point, but a reason why I won’t be booing the anthem when we finally get back in the ground.

Fuck UEFA. They prosecuted this whole thing with no proper evidence. I don’t buy this “poor UEFA were forced to act by the evil G14 clubs”
If true all they had to say was “our lawyers say we can’t win”
They shafted us by moving the goalposts in 2014, they have shafted us numerous times in the Champions League and they banned us for 2 years acting as judge jury and executioner.
They despise everything about us and it’s mutual as far as I’m concerned.
After FIFA they are the 2nd most corrupt organisation in world sport, I wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire.

thats an interesting view, perhaps it is time stop the booing, Pep isnt keen on it and if as you say UEFA isnt our real fight but the G14. Than perhaps showing support to UEFA ( how ever odd that sounds ! ) and Pep might be the way to go.

Anyone else wondering how we have sent 5.5m emails in 10 years? Maths isn't my strong point but I make that 10000+ emails per week, every week for 10 years. Some people at the club really need to get some work done.

On the basis that fair value was not in issue it probably didn’t really matter anyway.
True but I now suspect that year was missed out as we'd taken additional cash under the arrangement in those three highlighted years but not in the one that wasn't highlighted (2014/15). So the money was spread over 4 years, not the 3 that Nick Harris was claimong. We accounted for it per the terms of the contract bit we didn't take the cash in equal installments.

So after reflection and a lot of thought on this I decided to take a step back and look at the bigger picture.

The influence of a small number of clubs on the European game has been unhealthy, it has also damaged the game eminently.

The clearing of these FFP charges is the start of a longer action i believe.

The non compliance with the investigation is a hit we are willing to take as it will drive further revelations in the Ethics case currently ongoing against UEFA. There is further corruption that will come out in this case, some of it in direct relation to our FFP case and the clubs putting pressure on the regulatory bodies.

This will probably name individuals, inferred club ties and damage the strangle hold on the game by an elite few clubs, including our very own red brigade in England.

Just got this feeling that we have influenced a much longer shake up in the game - which is also why Cerefin is talking to our leadership on such a regular basis - he wants the same level playing field - uncorrupted and fair that we do.

That's not going to be easy when these same red clubs in England have the press in their pocket.
