There will come a day when one of these journalists gets a proper pasting from one of our supporters and it will result in our whole fanbase being demonised by the media , so the club need to grasp the nettle and start going legal on the lowlifes in the media , make an example of one of them , bankrupt them , and the rest of them will think twice before pedalling their bullshit.

It doesn't do much for the overall credibility of our case. You would have to suspend quite a lot of belief to accept that HH was this individual. In the end, CAS had no evidence to the contrary and had no basis for saying Pearce was unreliable. The wording of p224 is quite careful!

We were guilty of non cooperation though.

My guess is that this was a political fudge, a case of finding something, anything they could do us for so as not to damage UEFA‘s future credibility irreparably. And also to warn City off chasing UEFA for costs which could seriously damage them

Let's not be too harsh on Delooney, Sherbert, Neil's Dad from the Inbetweeners et al. Egg on their faces. It's understandable that they feel they have to re-write the story to suit their agenda rather than the verdict from actual legal experts.
