Merlin brought me a very big fish from someones pond last week ,i have been lying low lol
My previous Siamese was a real thief. He used to exit our bedroom window on to roof of bay window and thence into next door. Triumphant booty included half a leg of lamb and a slipper.

Ha brilliant. I have drawn the line at the squirrel, he had killed it but i threw him out of the kitchen with it , he doesnt bring his conquests home now but when he doesnt eat lunch i know he has eaten something and bits in his whiskers gives it away

Cant really add any further advice to this thread, other than what has been written but thought I'd show my cat off. Originally got her as a mouser, which she is scarily efficient at doing!!
If you become the main feeder (as I am), he or she will invariably follow you around the house and may even show you some affection from time to time. Anyway, this is Skye. She's a house cat and bullies my Jack Russell about.Skye1.jpgSkye2.jpg

He clearly has no ability to back down at the moment, was really hoping that he would have settled down.

We may have 1 more attempt in a 4/5 weeks time when the hormones will be fully flushed. If not then there is no choice. thankfully he has a litter tray and knows how to use it. he keeps having the runs which isn't nice, we thought it was the antiboitocs but its not clearing up, he's at the vets again for 2nd vaccines in 2 weeks so will raise it the if its still happening.

I think we will have to get a couple more trays. and we'll get some more beds and Im thinking a cat tree as he likes being high up.

Right now he's sleeping it off.

How's wee cat doing now mate

He's doing OK thanks for asking :)

All his battle wounds have healed up, we have started to let him out in the day time and he's doing well ( touch wood ). yesterday I even saw him socialising with 2 other cats in the area at the same time ( 1 male, 1 female) with zero aggression from any of them which I have taken as a good sign.

most of the time he's not even wanting to go out at night, most of the time he goes maybe 10 feet into the garden then back in a few mins later when its night.

His stomach has still been bad, we thought it was just all the change but the vet has told us to give him special hypoallergenic food for a few weeks to see if its a food allergy.

He's started to play more, when he 1st came in he wasn't interested at all but not chases after his cat toys and lazer pointer for a while before he gets bored.

He still has his aloof moods where he'll go hide in a corner for no reason but All in all, good signs

in all honesty we were not planning on it any time soon, had to go the bin and he got out one evening and didn't go far. since then we have tentivly let him out when it was dark, but early evening just to see how it went, he goes does his business then back in a few mins later.

Kinda glad its getting to winter as he's wanting to be in more than he was anyways.

Cats are territorial, but also have times they like to abscond. Try changing the times you let him out eventually will find a slot the offending cat is napping. Had similar problem just trial and error until they stop meeting each other
