Cat Vs Dog

I like both. However, I hate small jappy dogs. Any dog that comes up below knee height is the biggest waste of space to walk the planet. If you have to own a dog get a decent sized one. At least your average size cat could fend for itself if it came down to it.

No contest. DOG! Imagine a world reversed and cats had to do everything a dog can. A guide cat for the blind? Where the hell would the person end up, sitting on a wall all day and 'hunting' at night? A mountain rescue cat? It would just piss off and do its own thing, forget about the dying people on the mountain! A sniffer cat? Drugs, explosives, who gives a shit about dealers and terrorism, when they can go to sleep on top of the shed! Treat a dog right and they are the most loyal friends you'll ever have.

This had me pissing myself. (Either that or its just old age creeping up)

Cats are for women and gays.

Bold statement indeed. Yet a female Dog is called a woman, a female cat is called a Molly.

I rest my case.

Personally, it's a pit bull that fully grown. You have no idea of its temperament and if you have kids I definately wouldn't. I'd go for a puppy, you can train it and mould it into a well mannered even tempered dog

I know quite a bit about the dog, and the owner - she has seven of them, shows them, trains for others and does temperament evaluations for prospective owners, i.e. she is called in to run her eye over a prospect, she's also a fundraiser for the local vet college and on the board of a local humane society - this is one she got as a wee puppy, given her by...the vet that takes care of my rat terrier (small world!). Apparently her vet and my vet were at vet school together.

What do you think of him aesthetically?
