What cat is it, looks a bit like an amour lepoard, good colouring thats for sure. I need scale though - how big is it? Could i kick it across a room for example? Not that i would, but i am the same with small dogs that niff rather than bark, rubbish, get a proper dog ffs.

He's an ocelot and you're right - stunning markings. Size wise they are bigger than your domestic cat but pretty lithe and muscular so without the bulk of a small dog.

I don't think you're really the "kick it across the room" type so I wont answer that!

Nice - i think that would be a far better cat to have milling about, as you say the whole look of it is so much better. They fall into 2 families, lions, tigers and jaguars and leopards in one, all the other cats in the other, cant remember their names but domestic cats are felines so i am guessing that is one of the families, I studied this far too long ago and had too many beers but the other one to feline is the family i prefer. I find lions very interesting with their pride mentality, totally different to other cats. Leopards and jaguars are full of power and skill. Tigers for their sheer beauty. Saying that I think a cheetah in full flow, especially slowed, down is one of nature's most stunning sights.

It was an off the cuff remark... i did say 'not that i would' i just wanted an idea of scale and it is a sort of cut off point for me, if that make sense.

Dogs by a mile, they are ace, become very much part of your life, from when you get back to your house they're are all over you, food etc...
Cats piss off and fend for themselves, thats not to say I dont like cats because some of them are top.
But when I go to sleep at night i'd be more comfortable knowing I have a dog rather than a cat, they have this look like they're going to slit your throat.

Cats have attitude, they just want feeding and then fuck off for the day. Dogs are loyal and will defend you. How many cats have you seen bite the postman/window cleaner etc....

Dogs love mankind and will defend you to the death. Cats are pussy's (excuse the pun) and will fuck off at the first sign of trouble.

Both are beautiful creatures on god's green earth for man to look after and care for. They have adopted human traits that make nice, considered human humans want to make them look after them. No versus. They are lovely animals.
