Dzeko is shit

Im a lifelong season ticket holder and if hes worth 30m im worth at least 5

International level striker, only 26, averages a goal every 147 minutes with what seems like a relatively good attitude and lethally clinical finishing, when on form. Not brilliant at playing hold-up football, sometimes a little weak, but surprisingly good at passing, very good at poaching goals and pretty much unmatched in the air.

If it wasn't the much maligned Dzeko, I'm pretty sure those attributes on anyone else would make a 20-30 million pound striker. It's having attributes beyond those that make Cavani a 30-35 million pound striker.

Name a better 4th choice striker in the world?

im sorry but he isnt unmatched in the air.
hes a decent player , but as you say he is a confidence player.
therefore to get the best out of him he would have to play most matches. he wont do that at city.
for edin's sake i hope he moves to be honest.

i do rate him just think he needs to play every week , and be the main man.

Very true, but Dzeko is not a forth striker. He'll tire of it if it came to that and may very well go january if a buyer came.

Don't disagree, but at the moment he is our fourth choice striker. Fact.

Well 3rd really as he came on before Balo...on Sunday anyway

Have a look at the post before this one. Do you think Rodwell is our first choice CM ? Or did he play cos others were'nt fit ? It's not difficult. Useless point ? I wouldn't be so harsh on yourself .

Re: Cavani.

I might be wrong but even if Dzeko leaves I believe a deep lying playmanker is more essential and Mancini might just go with three strikers. I would love to be proved wrong.

Well said NQ. There is always a fall guy at City, always has been and probably always will be. This guy was probably on Paul Powers or Big Joe's case and all the ones afterwards. I hate supporters like this and probably wrong to call them supporters

I find it pretty hard to criticise any of the team. Savic is woefully out of his depth, but has shown in glimpses why he might have been worth gambling on, Johnson hasn't been able to step his game up but then players like Kolarov (best crosser at the club) and Milner come in for stick and it's just ridiculous.
