Cavani & Falcao

No he isn't but people on here who like to think they know more about foreign football are over-egging the pudding.

Who is better in your opinion?

Falcao over Cavani every time. He would instantly make us favourites to win the league. We lack a really clinical finisher and while Cavani is good I don't think he is as good as some on here make out.

Both are good, but for me, Cavani offers more in terms of pure power and aerial ability, something that Aguero and Tevez lack (Falcao is good at heading but he isn't as fast as Cavani, who is also taller). Cavani not clinical? 33 goals in 2010/2011, 33 goals in 2011/2012 and 32 goals so far in 2012/2013.

I did say in another thread that i'd prefer Falcao but tbh i'm leaning towards Cavani now after watching his goals more closely. He really is superb technically, he hits the ball so sweetly. This and his movement, pace and strength...He'll be fucking ruthless in the prem.

that's what we lacked most of all this past season. (as well as a backup for Silva who can unlock defences with creative passes and ball movement... but that's another matter)

if swapping out Dzeko for Cavani gives our attack more teeth, i'm all for it.

It doesn't matter whether his touch and build up play is a weakness, we don't need him to do that, we need him to put the chances away that we haven't been able to this season and he's so clinical that he would do. His work rate and strength as a target man are exceptional as well, everything Dzeko isn't. Cavani would be brilliant.
