Even if we pay 50 million for Cavani, your math is wrong. Falcao would go for at least around 40, and Isco probably for at least 20. And plus you get two huge wage bills instead of one.
Cavani doesn't want to leave, de Laurentiis is a ****, and his buyout clause is 63m. They won't take a penny less for him. With our new wage structure (and including the probability that their wages are quite low right now in comparison), the clearing of dead wood and one or two others, they wouldn't add any strain to our wage bill. Plus I just used them as examples.
