Only twice? Are you sure? :)

Yet Dzeko scored more goals and have more assists in last 5 years despite being bit player last 2 and half playing in team that absolutely doesn't play to his strength unlike Cavani, did it in Germany, England and national team (top scorer in last WC qualifying, top scorer in current ones) unlike Cavani who scores a goal each 4-5 games in Uruguay.

Yeah, must be twice a player... how they say it - the grass isn't always greener on the other side... some of you might find the meaning of that quote very soon when it comes to continuous underrating of Dzeko.

26 league goals in 2800 minutes and you'd think it's Heskey that is talked about after seeing words from some fans from his own club. It's really a case for some serious researches :)

I'm sure Dzeko will go back to Germany and start scoring and settle in like Balo has in Italy.

There's no point getting bitter about it, if the manager doesn't rate him and he's not getting the games then it's time to move on, best for both parties.

I'm not bitter at all about Dzeko, I'd swap my position for his this minute and it's definitely best for him at first to move, then for club too. And I count him as already left.

I'm depressed though to see how people continuously, and it's not just about Dzeko, undermine and underestimate their own players and do the opposite with other ones even if everything go against their opinion.

Cavani is good example as he is top player only at Napoli. Period. He is average at best with Uruguay where team is not set up to use his strengths and his record there is one for 15m player, not 40m one.

City are not close to Napoli style and won't be for at least 2-3 years more as it doesn't have type of players Napoli had/have and even if those players are bought this summer, that style won't be implemented at full for year or two. And by then most of people who are belittling Dzeko will start saying Cavani is shit and was never worth 40 millions. Then we'll talk about some other flavour of the moment here.
All I hear on here is that all these strikers are good because the system they play in suits them. Do you think there are any strikers that we could get that DO fit our system of play?

I get your point but I've got every confidence in Cavani, he's the nearest thing I've seen to an all round striker for a long time.

Dare i say it, he reminds me of Van Nistelrooy

Falcao would fit much better and is much better player than Cavani.

Take penalties from cavani and he scored 2 more league goals in Serie A than Dzeko in Premier League while playing 1000 minutes more being main man in his team. And has one assist in the league. He is just not good as people think he is and you're gonna see it if he comes and find packed defences in front of him instead counter attacks style that made him star in Italy.

Serie A is a pretty defensive league though. But personally I would prefer Falcao, so I hope he is the one we get. Recently said he ain't going to Chelsea, just hope that he ain't just bluffing. Both Falcao and Cavani have similar goal tallies though. Don't watch loads of Atletico or Napoli but I guess Atletico must have a style of play closer to us than Napoli do.

It is defensive league but 9 of his 20 goals in Serie A this season were in away matches when teams have a go at Napoli and most of 11 home goals are braces or hat tricks in games where they trashed competition and where competition had to open themselves after going down goal or two.

Not a single game at home where Napoli won with one goal difference where Cavani's goal was a difference that won a match.

Doesn't look like bunker buster one ;)
