If this year has taught us anything it's that second choices aren't good enough.

We have to spend the money or either way Falcao or Bale.

Higuain is good enough for any club in the world on his day. He seems to get a fair few muscular injuries though which is a worry. He's a lethal finisher though.

Falcao too expensive? He's going to cost probably £50m, I doubt anyone will get Cavani for much less.

Higuain has been playing brilliantly for Argentina in the World Cup qualifiers. He is a lethal finisher and he would be a fantastic addition to our team. After watching he and Cavani in the qualifiers I would much rather spend the money on Higuain.

This summers window is going to be brilliant you can just sense it. Its already started with the rumours of Cavani to us now PSG etc.
I forget how flappy this place gets, but for me thats all part of it.
We may well miss out on a target(s), and we may surpass everyones expectations by blowing clubs out of the water.
I just lap it all up, good or bad.
We missed out on Sanchez, likewise Van persie.
However we signed Yaya when it looked like he was off elsewhere, same with Aguero and Tevez.

So I honestly think that the same ideals will be tried here as well. We not only have to make signings that will enable us to achieve more next season in all competitions but we have to look at the revenue angle as well

One major marquee signing will be required, the rest made up of talent to strengthen the starting eleven and the bench. We have to start the ball rolling in terms of getting club exposure all over the world, and this is done by the one star player and numerous shirt sales
