Sources on Twitter continue momentum on United sitting down with Atletico to discuss Falcao fee.

I will enter depression if that happens. Would probably cost something like 60m/70m.
Sources on twatter lol, i hope someone blows that shit up
If it's not Twitter it will be something else don't worry!

Forget them both, give RM the Kun they desperately want + 30 million. And give us Ronaldo.

I understand that some on here are not keen on Neymar - but the lad is only 19 and will become the Worlds best player during his career.

If somehow Txiki was to secure his services, I do not believe that any City fan would say that we should not have bought him.

Every major footballing power has at sometime during the tenure acquired a player that is tipped to become the next best player on the planet or already established.

Barca - Messi
Rags - Ronaldo
Madrid - Zidane

The list could go on. The factor that we are still up against is that we are still a infant compared to the already established powers within european football and this is the reason why Soriano & Txiki were hired by our club - to change the way we are seen in the football world.

I am not saying that Neymar will be acquired because the lure of Barcelona will far outweigh the lure of us (at this moment in time). So what we may see is the arrival of a maybe a player that is yet fairly unknown, regarded as a very talented individual and the potential to become a world beater within our team.

What we have to achieve next season as well as regaining the title is a major improvement on the champions league. We definately have to get out of the group stage, and I believe we would at the very least have to get past the first knock-out stage as well. That is a main priority as it gives maximum exposure around the world for our club.

Discussing a fee? Those discussions would be so short they could take place on Snapchat or something equally as inane.

Falcao has a release clause of something like £47 million. That's what a club will need to pay to get him. Nothing to discuss about the fee.

Neymar is immensely talented but you can understand why people are so hesitant about him because of Robinho. Both very similar players I would say however Robinho even had the advantage of being at Real for years before.

Such an incredible risk to buy Neymar and bring him straight into the Premier League. Incredible gamble that I don't think we could afford to make.

Unless I remember this totally wrong, Falcao is half owned my some sort of investment group (who will - without doubt - want their part of the release clause).

Couple that with Atletico wanting/needing to have money to re-invest in a replacement, there is no way that the clause will even be up for negotiation.

The best a club like Utd (or us) can hope for is that they can offload Hernandez/Dzeko as the replacement, thus giving Atletico a little cash (about 12m) and the investment group all of their cash (23.5m), but that'd still be breaking the British transfer record, even without the player.

Exactly mate. I was just trying to point out the immense flaw in the rumour that United would be sitting down to discuss a fee with Atletico.

For the record, I'm a Cavani man. Built for the Premier League and already well-versed in a 3-forward system, which allegedly is what we'll be using next season.

Re: Cavani & Falcao

On the subject of Neymar my concerns are all based around Brazilians in the Premier league. Genuine question, which Brazilians have actually cut it in England at the highest level ?
