On the subject of Neymar my concerns are all based around Brazilians in the Premier league. Genuine question, which Brazilians have actually cut it in England at the highest level ?

Oh i don't know, i've seen some lovely cut Brazilians in this country !!

Lol ok, I asked for that but is Juninho the one that has cut it consistently for longest ? Personally I don't rate Luiz or Ramires and the 2 fucking idiots from just over the border don't even register on my radar.

Thought Gilberto at Arsenal always did a good job, however his style was very akin to British

Re: Cavani & Falcao

I'm not worried about falcao going to united at all cause they can't afford him or his wages. They would have to unload Rooney which I don't think they're going to be able to do. They could unload chicharito but why would u? He's young still and I don't think he'd leave unless a move was forced on his part

United can enquire and meet all they want but it means jack shit cause in the end they don't have the money

Rafael, Sandro, Luiz and Oscar of the current crop over here.

Question: When we were being linked with Thiago Silva last summer, did people not want him due to him being Brazilian?

Not people in general, this is more about my own opinion, and with Silva you make a very good point. I would have taken Silva, and back in the day Cafu and Dunga too, but they are different styles of Brazilians. I think it is the flair players that they take so much pride in that concern me, maybe the English game and the defensive strengths that cause them problems ?

Or then again maybe I'm just plain wrong ! It happens from time to time ;o)

Sandro would be brilliant in our team. Before his injury he was the best holding midfielder in the Premier League this season. The Brazil stereotype is stupid, they are all individual people with different personalities... some will fail, some will succeed. If Maicon had come here aged 26 he would have succeeded too.

Lucas is another who could also do a fine job for us,he has matured into an athletic, intelligent, industrious and combative player.

Ok I can't argue with that logic as it is sound and reflects my own preferred outlook on life, but why are there not more Asian footballers in our league, surely they too are individuals with different personalities and make up a large demographic of the world population ?
