we can still come through...all you need is Soul.

come on Tolm...cannt you for once just explain what you have heard????? I dont stand a chance of working that out!!!!!!!!!

Don't you remember that game in the late 70s early 80s, Simon Says, by MB games?

You got to work a little harder by pressing the right buttons at the right time with the right colours.

Or I could just tell you City have now made it clear to Cavani's people, a couple more weeks and then we already have another option.

I think it is Jackson Martinez but don't hold me to that one just yet, still checking it out.

Wouldn't be overly keen on Martinez. Only had one season in Europe (albeit a very good one), and Tim Vickery says about him 'His touch and general approach play are not great, and the worry would be that he might not build up a head of steam to feel confident about his game.' Now who does that sound like ;-)

Having said that, there aren't too many feasible alternatives knocking about. If as expected Lewandowski goes to either Bayern or Man United, off the top of my head we'd be looking at Benzema (perhaps), potentially Jovetic. I know we were linked with Aubameyang from St Etienne a while back. Hardly a wealth of options unless we just go fucking nuts on a Reus type.

According to press reports he's turned down a 25m offer from Spurs. He's 26 and is Columbian. 26 league goals for Porto last season. Not see him play though
He's currently odds on to Madrid, but if Cavani insists on Madrid perhaps we swap striker targets?

No, if you fancy a flutter on Spuds.

Try Fredy Guarin at Inter.

Well, to me "We've only just begun"...to spend money, and commence a very exciting next chapter in our history

I got excited at the second line, because I started looking for players who wear white laces.... but then got my goggles on!! ;)

"Before the rising sun we fly"...Sun rises in the morning you open the window, so to me, we're looking to "Fly" (getting the majority of signings in) before the start of the window on 1st July?

"We start out walking and learn to run"....last year we started ponderously and never really hit the heights of the year before, so by getting the signings early, we're looking to start quickly?

"Sharing horizons that are new to us"....the players we're looking at, supplemented the squad with, should see us through to the new Horizon of the latter stages of the CL?

"We'll find a place where there's room to grow" - well we're increasing the size of the stadium, and the players we're bringing in will help with that as we grow with them over the newxt few seasons (all being well)?

That's my interpretation

-- Wed Jun 12, 2013 11:45 am --

Noticed Ecuador have a 21 year old striker in their ranks, Marlon de Jesus.

Worth getting just incase one jesus is not enough

We could be looking at a team made up of Bernard, Alan, Fred, Jesus and Marlon

Tolmie only posts the youtube vids as it's the title of the songs that he's alluding to. I don't think he has an encyclopedic knowledge of song lyrics and their meaning to the goings on at City.

One thing is for certain looks like most if not all players will be signed before pre season
I would be very pleased if City does deliver an ultimatum to Napoli. We really don't want this to play out all summer.

If what Tolm has said is correct then they either accept the offer in a couple of weeks or we walk away. I think that's the only way to do business with that pompous prat De Laurentiis.

correct me if im wrong but im sure tolmie was pointing at cavani and his own people not napoli which would mean everything has been dealt with concerning both clubs?
