Thought that had been sorted out, he travels with Spain (was at last World Cup and Euro Champs) not sure it is an issue any more

Apparently he's made great strides to overcome his homesickness, so much so that he has publicly stated his interest in playing for City under Pellegrini.

This player is a real beast. Very fast, good with both foot, good reflex and most important always gives his heart out on the field. Last hat-trick he did, 2 weeks ago, at the 89th minute he was still coming back defending and winning back the ball for the team.
And I don't worry for him to adapt to EPL, I saw a game Napoli/Inter where he destroyed a defender (don't remember his name). The guy must have insult him bcos during the game Cavani found a way to punch him, to elbow the guy and tackle him very rudely. The defender finished with his head completely wrapped with tape. And didn't even received a card...

I really hope we get him.

Very good player, fast, strong, good reflex, pace, always gives his heart out on the pitch. The perfect striker imo and a must for city.

Looks like he would only score half of those goals in England. I believe Cavani wouldn't be much better than Dzeko, if at all. I think Falcao might be a better purchase especially if we are looking to use wide players more. But he seems Monaco bound with all the thirdparty ownerships, if I'm not wrong. :<

While Mancini was in charge I was always saying that I'd never pay the money Napoli are asking for him. The football City played under Mancini was miles away from one that made Cavani famous.

Not sure Pellegrini's football is perfect one for him too but at least he might try to adapt to it, something Mancini never tried to do.
