Well that's a shite starts fellas, Isco and Cavani slipping through the net.

C'mon Txiki and Ferran sort it out.

Going up against the biggest team in world football who can spend £100m+ without justification.

Always a task.

It's bloody Sport ffs. Plus, all it says is that Cavani has an agreement, not the clubs.

Hello, Nip.

Any other updates on Oliver Torres ? I really like him and want to come here.

I found on google & Twitter, but I don't find anything.

I think our forwards like Aguero and Dzeko can give so much more

Do you risk an entire season on our strikers becoming more clinical? Even in our title winning season we weren't that clinical, we just created an incredible amount of chances - which is a bit tougher now as people understand better how we play. I think the fact we're targeting a very expensive striker says a lot about how the club thinks.

Considering Marv was the biggest advocate that our strikeforce was the problem, I find his post a tad comical.

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

When a report says City are in pole position to sign a player... there is doubt and tutting about the source.

When a report says someone is ahead of City and in pole position to sign a player... it's a done deal and the inferiority complexes emerge.

For all we know Real might not even be interested in Cavani. I mean the player they are publicly tapping up through Zidane is not Cavani but Bale who, were they to land him, would cost around £50million you would think. And I doubt Real's transfer budget is unlimited.

So until Cavani and Isco are shown holding up white shirts, let's not panic too much.

Not ITK fella, only get snippets here and there.

AS for Oliver Torres, we've been linked and I guarantee he's on our scout lists. Dunno if we will get him or if he will stay, Athletico are doing well and he could be playing for them regularly in the next 2 years. They just won Copa Del Rey and have CL football. He's probably not in any rush.

The lad will be worth £40-50m in 5 years, no doubt about it. The kid has it, clear as day,. wonderful talent.

-- Sat May 25, 2013 4:16 pm --

Real will be after a big striker if they move on Higuain, I always thought Falcao would be the man but failing that Cavani makes sense, I can't understand why they wouldn't fancy Suarez though, he's perfect for them and probably cheaper.

You nailed it with above post, definitely inferiority complex.

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

I'm not sure if we're close to getting Cavani.

Anyone else think that the Napoli President leaked the info that his sporting director was meeting with us just to alert other prospective suitors and up the ante?

according to some of you itk members, that'd never happen.

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

ADL won't crumble when it comes to the price, in which case it will depend on Real being able to include players that Napoli want in the deal.

Dzeko could be crucial if they definitely want him, otherwise I'd just slap the £50mil cash on the table.
