The Real link isn't what it seems apparently. Cavani father doing the linking in hope of getting him there where it seems that Falcao is their long term man. A season in Monaco then Madrid calls once again.

He's gonna come here folks. Worry more about Chelsea than Real. Thing is Chelsea have Lukaku, Ba and Torres and all plan to stay. We have Aguero, Tevez and Dzeko and Dzeko is going so we have space and they like Dzeko, even if not we sell Dzeko to BVB to replace Lewandowski.

Chill guys.

It is going to come down to City vs Chelsea. Madrid won't go after him once they've spent 75 million euros on Bale. If we are both in the hunt for him though, I am convinced he'll come to us.

Torres we can get rid of pretty easily. He needs to play first team football having been selected for Spain's team and such. If he is told he'll be benched, which he undoubtedly will be if Cavani comes, he'll have no choice but to go. He can't afford to sit on the bench and collect wages like Malouda. Lukaku is on loan and can go again. He is in no way a threat to someone like Cavani. Your situation is actually more messy with Aguero, Dzeko and Tevez etc. Why compete with Aguero when he can walk into our team ?

Furthermore, Mourinho > Pelligrini and we've actually won the Champions League just a year ago. I have no doubt he'll choose us. Mourinho will make sure of it.

If he goes to you guys though the title race is probably over before it even begins.

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

I maybe a mile off the mark, but I think Dezko will stay and that the interest in Cavani if just talk - possibly from the Napoli end to ensure that if they do sell him, they get the full release clause value.

Yeah, I think you're well off there, mate.

Re: Cavani Speculation/News

Aguero would play to compliment Cavani, Silva on the left, Aguero the right and Cavani centre.

Dzeko knows he's third choice and has two options to go.

Torres has stated clearly he wants to stay, Roman also wants to 'succeed' in his purchase. Chelsea need a better defence and defensive midfield instead of attack imo. Maybe a Wiseman on the right too.

As for Jose v Pellegrini I agree, only thing is at Chelsea consistency isn't there with managers. I also think next season with an easier group we will do well in Europe. The keys are there and the lock can be picked with a more tactically adept manager like Pellegrini. Once passed the groups we can beat anyone on the day. We've beaten Chelsea all season and they boast a draw as their best result.

-- Tue May 28, 2013 12:23 pm --

As far off as your opinion that Garcia will be a key player for us. Cavani is our main target.

I think you are wrong on at least 3 counts (1) I do not think Cavani will go to you, I think he is City bound (2) I do not think Mourinho will be letting Lukaku go on loan next season, I think he will be an integral member of the first team squad (3) much as I would like you to be right there is no way we will walk the league next season, you under-estimate Mourinho there

OK. Appreciate your comments

I think Aguero would be wasted if he's used as a 2nd striker. He'd be my main man, with a Tevez like player in behind. But not Tevez. I think he's too slow now, and doesn't have enough goals in him

I'd use Garcia as a central defender or deep lying midfielder when Yaya was not available

You should post more its very interesting read :).One of the best post on this thread surely.
From what i gathered from your post:

Mourinho " Hey Torres"
Torres "Yes"
Mourinho " You will get benched"
Torres "But Why"
Mourinho "Because Cavani is coming"
Torres "Then i have no choice i am going"
Mourinho "Thank You"
Torres "Thank You"
Lukaku ' I am going on loan again :)"

Has he been clinical enough as of late to be the main man? The rags were so clinical for most of last season. Apart from when RVP had his little drought, it was relentless goalscoring from LESS chances than what Aguero was getting. Aguero seems to need 5 chances to score. Cavani doesn't. Aguero is a fantastic dribbler, i like him picking the ball up from deep and running at people. To win the league next season, we need to be clinical again. Cavani is the man for that.

Marvin, Marvin, Marvin, Cavani is exactly the player we've been missing, a pure goalscorer. The guy's a fucking beast and would tear the Premiership a new one. With Aguero, Silva and Isco in and around him, and Yaya alongside a top quality dm in support, I'd be having a dabble on us for the title next season Mourinho at Chelsea or no Mourinho at Chelsea.
As for Garcia, give it up mate, the guy is shite.
