chelsea are on a high with mourinho coming back add cavani and it will give they players a boost, players on a high will perform better, might give them the edge over us in the title race. This is why i think will should not cool our intrest in him
couldnt agree more if we dont sign cavani after our interest in him for the last 2 years and let mourinho just step in and take him heads should roll.this will be like rvp all over imo,all this dzeko shite im hearing pfffft seriously some deluded people on here if they think he will turn into a better player.
exactly what i have been trying to say but i just get called a ''rag''.
Big difference between Dzeko and Cavani is hunger, he looks to me like a player who just wants to get better and better, Dzeko has lost that hunger

This is probably not true, and it is far fetched but what if...

We are letting Napoli know (think) Chelsea are the only ones in for Cavani so that they can haggle down his price and we nip in for him at the end, and if Chelsea have to pay the buyout clause, we match it.

If Chelsea match the buyout can we then match it or does the first club get the player?
Up to the player

A better player? He is a striker and strikers need to score goals. Which he did. All in a team were the build up play was as slow as a tortoise. Slow build up = opposing team get back and defend = more players in final third = less room to manoeuvre and create.
most of dzekos goals have come from the bench against tired defences, when he starts game he is very average he has no pace he cant controll a football which is poor for any footballer,he doesnt suit our style and dont think he ever will.he is not good enough and thats the truth if he leaves il always be thankfull for his effort and goal against qpr but we need a better striker than him.i just hope these reports on cavani to chelsea are wrong but got a bad feeling him under jose will haunt us

If you re- read your own posts I'm sure that you'll understand the reason for that.
i know i went over the top, i will just let tixiki and soriano do the work and see what happens! i just dont want to see cavani in the chelsea top especially with mourinho there! whatever happens, next season is gonna be exciting and i am looking forward to it

I can't let this myth about creativity being the problem last season grow. The problem was absolutely NOT creating chances, it was the lack of really clinical finishing that was the problem. Let me illustrate with a few examples:

West Ham away 0-0 65% possession, 22 shots, 5 on target and no goals.

Sunderland away 0-1 67% possession, 23 shots, 7 on target and no goals.

QPR away 0-0 69% possession, 17 shots, 4 on target and no goals.

Swansea away 0-0 62% possession, 12 shots, 3 on target and no goals.

There's 9 points lost of the 11 that we ended up behind the rags. 74 shots, 19 on target and not a single fucking goal. That's why IMO we need a clinical finisher, I don't much care who he is as long as he's effective.

If we can't get Cavani ... get Ronaldinho and play him just behind the main striker (Dzeko or Aguero ). He looks fitter than ever.
