I trust Pellegrini to...
- Assess whether he can get the best out of Dzeko. Mancini didn't play to Dzeko's strengths; Pellegrini will
- Assess whether there is a role for Tevez. If so, then he gets a contract extension (on reduced terms). If not, then look for another stiker.
- If there is a spare striker spot, assess whether Cavani is worth it at the available price. I doubt that Pellegrini would regard Cavani as the best value, or most suitable for his style of play.
Why do you think we Pellegrini will change the team to suit Dzeko?
Just because we bought Navas?
Silva and Nasri, hopefully Isco wont suddenly become wingers to service Dzeko. They will play the same way, intricate passing and quick movement which Dzeko struggles with.
I will be surprised if the team doesn't start with Aguero upfront and Silva and Nasri in behind.
I think Tevez is off and a move for Jovetic would be good, can play different positions, direct, quick, skilful and scores goals and creates.
