didnt impress me last night at all, seems to hide in the game and not get involved, thinking of it now, id go for someone younger.

never would you dream a professional footballer doing such a thing (yeah right) but would it not help to play under par to help get a price knock on your value and help a move?

difference is i don't under rate him john and playing shit in 2 confed cups hasn't changed my mind that cavani is a class player that we need but its an idea that it isnt just fantasy to believe he would under perform for certain reasons.

• Assess whether there is a role for Tevez. If so, then he gets a contract extension (on reduced terms). If not, then look for another stiker.
• If there is a spare striker spot, assess whether Cavani is worth it at the available price. I doubt that Pellegrini would regard Cavani as the best value, or most suitable for his style of play.

Why do you think we Pellegrini will change the team to suit Dzeko?
Just because we bought Navas?
Silva and Nasri, hopefully Isco wont suddenly become wingers to service Dzeko. They will play the same way, intricate passing and quick movement which Dzeko struggles with.
I will be surprised if the team doesn't start with Aguero upfront and Silva and Nasri in behind.

I think Tevez is off and a move for Jovetic would be good, can play different positions, direct, quick, skilful and scores goals and creates.

Just because we bought Navas?

cuz dzeko will thrive on width.. its already looking like dzeko will be the target man and kun in the hole..
