One player who I haven't heard as a possible target upfront for us is Swansea's Michu. I only ever see us linked with players going for outrageous amounts of money these days when Michu's signing shows there are still bargains to be had and with City's supply from a quality midfield player's like Michu I think would be far better value.
I'd be worried that Michu could e a one season wonder....he scored most of his goals first half of last season then they all but dried up

still think Cavani is dooable depends where Suarez goes

If RM think they can get Suarez cheaper than Cavani then its us or Chelski and i think we have a beeter deal if we include Dzeko

Going to be a long drawn out process i suspect

So many teams involved in this merrygoround and until one moves it seems no one is.

Lewandowski - Bayern
Replacement for Dortmund
Cavani/Aguero/Rooney - Real Madrid
Replacement for Napoli
We need a new striker to replace Tevez
Rags will need a replacement for Rooney
Liverpool need replacement for Saurez
Chelsea looking at getting a new striker.

Not sure what the outcome will be but it won't happen in next couple of weeks this will take all transfer window.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis anticipates a decision on the future of Edinson Cavani before the striker returns to Italy at the end of July.

The Chelsea and Real Madrid target has been connected with a summer move and was also linked to Manchester City before they decided not to meet his €63million (£54m) buyout clause.

That clause in Cavani's contract expires on 10th August, which has led to speculation he could wait until then to leave Napoli in order to secure a better deal for any future club.

Rafa relaxed over Cavani future
But De Laurentiis thinks the Uruguay international, who is currently in Brazil at the Confederations Cup, will decide his future before he returns from a summer break on 20th July.

De Laurentiis told Radio Rai: "I don't think Cavani will leave on 10th August, when his buyout clause expires.

"I'm confident in him, because I consider him a real man. He won't make me a joke of me.

"Should Cavani want to leave, he will decide it after a long period of reflection.

"But by 20th July we will probably know everything about his future."

July 20th, is that in the hope that everyone will have forgot how crap he has been in this tournament. They should have sold before the tournament they have no chance of anyone paying what they want now

ADL needs no help from Cavani to look a joke.
