Beware Cavani's scoring record in Italy........balotelli is outscoring everyone at the moment

He's getting a consistent run of games and he's being played in the right position, hardly a surprise that he's doing so well.

Reports coming out now regarding Cavani's brother stating real madrid are interested signing him.

Another twist is that another report states chelsea have given up on Falcao and are looking at Lewandowski

So with the so called non-transfer pact between Atletico & Real - could this be falcao to us then !!!

I don't know mate i think his brother wants more teams to fight for him and his price to get bigger and bigger...if all this situation that chelsea has given up on falcao is true then i think he is real bound..i just have a feeling that cavani to us is something like a done deal with us agreed already terms with him and only remain the fee to discuss...with txiki here i'm very condident that he can make laurentis to accept let's may 35-40M + player..
The Falcao "back off" by Chelsea may be a bargaining ploy advised by Mourinho?
He is likely to know the "inside track" on the deal as he has the same agent as Falcao.

Which player? The only one who would remotely suit their system is Tevez (well, moreso Aguero, obviously, but he's not going to Naples).

How would Txiki make Di Laurentiis realize that Dzeko is what they need when Di lau is the one who in conjunction w Mazzari built Napoli's current system?

I still don't understand why people say we're trying to get Napoli to accept £35M-£40M plus Dzeko (valuing him at £13M-£18M) when there's probably clubs willing to pay about £20M for Dzeko anyway.

Surely it would be just as easy to agree the buyout fee for Cavani and sell Dzeko for £20M ish making it more a less the same transfer anyway?

It's like buying a car though mate, it's sometimes harder to sell the one you've got privately, so it's easier to trade it in on part ex if possible.

It's depends on what Juve and Dortmund are putting on the table?

Yeah I suppose thats a good point, I didn't really think of it like that! And like others have said, it's hard for us to sell Dzeko before we sign Cavani but we don't want teams using us signing Cavani to drive down the price of Dzeko. I don't think I'm cut out for these long, complicated negotiations with multiple teams!

Corky called it right. AC Milan is a rag.

Why are we bothered about his opinion? This is about Ca Va Niiiiiiii.

This would be epic at the Etihad after he has just scored his hat trick against the rags....

Jury is still out on my source (see Isco) but he reckons Cavani is very close but not signed

As i stated in your thread back in Jan, i thought you was a little premature with your news about Isco but on this one i think your bang on

On Cavani, Dan? Interesting that the club is moving quickly even without a new manager officially appointed. Makes you think that Pellegrini will be there to be Txiki's puppet.

I think the club are paying a longer game. My conversation about Isco back in October was on the basis that the deal was done but not whether he would join in January or the summer. We will see soon

I have faith fella.

We will see, he volunteered the info, I didn't ask him

We are true believers Ronnie. We have made the leap of faith. Thousands may have their doubts, but not we faithful.

I just hope Kun doesn't challenge you again to a little side wager.

cheers for the info ronnie as it seems we're competing with the russian in the south

I hope to Allah you're on about Cavani.

Fernandinho, isco and cavani. That would be absolutely unreal business. All 3 are exactly what we need. And I expect there to be more incomings after them.

The new way I think Jordan, Txiki and Ferran deal with ins and outs- the coach then coaches what he's given, ala Barça and Real Madrid. Though could be wrong.
