If it is two up top, we run the risk of players tiring out, injuries. Also, my other worry is what if Dzeko, Aguero don't rediscover their good form and/or Guietti can't cut it in PL? Then we have a little problem.
Agree on the 3 strikers ... will certainly not be 4
Aguero - I am sure stays
Dzeko - could potentially stay depending wholly on Pellegrini
Guidetti - no way do I see him as a 3rd...
Txiki and Ferran will want to make statements and Pellegrini will have targets... i.e. Win the Premier League again, win another domestic cup and get to the knockout stage of the UCL.
If Aguero got injured, do you think we could mount a formidable attack on Juve, Chelsea, Barca, Real etc with (no disrespect to the lad) Guidetti and Dzeko alone?!
I am sure Txiki and Ferran will already want to bring in 1 TOP CLASS striker the summer because it is clear we have not been clinical all season long and even with Isco, Fernandinho (if/when they sign) we still won't be overtaking the likes of RVP ... That's why I hope it is Cavani but he may prove to be unreachable with Chelski once again breathing down our necks ready to grab a target we have worked on by flashing the whole "we have London" shit.
