That's evens mate,you get back what you put on....at 2/1.... They will give you £2 for every £1 you put on,plus your £1 back....so if you put £100 on at 2/1 and he signs,you get your £100 back and £200 winnings....hope that helps.

On another note,I'd feel more comfortable if he was odds on,as in 1/2....which means you have to put £2 on to get £1 back.....normally happens when something is nailed on.

doesnt work that way with football transfers - posts from Tolmie and the like on football message boards can have a huge effect on the betting - the market is quite small - if 5 of us put £10 on Cavani going to Spuds the odds would shift wildly - in the past players like Nasri were odds on going to the rags one day, odds on going to us the next
