Wengers classic hypocrisy - Europa league rewards failure. unlike finishing fourth without a trophy for eight years but still playing in the champions league.

He is a deluded twat ain't he?

I much as I would like to see Falcao at City, this is more of a messy transfer than Cavani's.

pinch of salt ... no wait take a fooking table spoon of salt with this.

As much as I would love him here ... I struggle to see Txiki and Ferran activate his release clause because of his 3rd party malarkey.

On the other hand, Ferran and Txiki DO WANT to make a marquee signing and as far as I know, Nike have been promised this marquee by city too. Would make sense or would Isco be our marquee ?

NO WAY!!!

OMG

.... Oh wait... it's Sunday People

If it makes a few papers then it might have some credibility.

True... does anyone know if Sunday People's success rate with stories ?
Not sure Isco is someone to be marquee signing. very good of course but does not have same marketing value as someone like Falcao. Not really good at this type of thing, just my opinion.

Cavani would be Mancini man but Pelli would have seen more of Falcao or maybe it's just bullshit.

true, it makes sense as Pellegrini would probably want Falcao over Cavani... but you have to admit, if this was a real "exclusive" then it would take up a lot more of the back page than the Newcastle story?!

Yeah Isco isn't a marquee signing, not yet anyway. Very small group of players you could apply that label too I think.

-- Sat May 18, 2013 8:38 pm --

Ha, exactly my thoughts Falcao to Chelsea or Monaco then!

funny thing about the marque signing for nike is that none of our main targets wear nike boots

Cavani scored again today against Roma. Suffice to say that goal drought is well and truly over with 11 goals in his last 9 games. 36 goals in total for the season (all competitions).
