Some new reports that we have offered Micah to Napoli to bring down the price for Cavani...
Brennan mentioned that but said it couldn't happen since Micah wanted to stay but wouldn't surprise me. I'd be devastated to lose Micah even if it meant bringing cavani in

ooooh

If true, must only mean Micah is open to a move as I'm sure we would not offer Napoli this kind of deal if we could not deliver....

Would we be happy to send Micah to Serie A for one of the best strikers in the world? Talk about rock and a hard place... shit!

surely only if we have a replacement RB line up though (Maicon ain't staying). Micah is a pretty good RB and is willing to play squad role and rotate with Zab and he can play CB, be mad to sell him.

Maicon IS staying, he said that himself. Quoted from OS.
But aren't we getting this "byram" lad which plays RB ?

surely not Maicon... do we have any other potentially top class RB we are chasing or coming up from Academy? Does Marquinos play RB by any chance?

getting rid of micah would be one of the most stupid decisions ever. We barely have any academy players. He loves the club and when fit is one of he best RBs in the league.

Would be so stupid, I would question what the hell management are doing.

sam byram isnt a patch on him, we may aswell have kept trippier

PSG will fall like a house of cards in the summer.
Zlatan to Juve (done deal soon)
Ancelotti to RM
Leonardo will leave too i read now.

How many more stars will leave them?

Don't be so sure that Ronaldo and Mourinho won't both end up there.

Seriously excited about this one, hope we can get it done. Wouldn't be happy about losing Micah though.

If we'd have come up witht he cash he would have come, don't fall for his pathetic press statement

And if we had signed him, we wouldn't have the same amount of cash to spend on younger players now.

I never saw him as a player the club would be keen to sign. Mancini would of course but paying top whack for a player of that age is against everything Khaldoon has laid out as policy for City.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the one that reported first the Novaretti deal, talks about Cavani, Dzeko and Mancini.

Here's the link in italian http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/altr...prima-scelta-di-mazzarri-per-l-attacco-444815

It basically says that he isn't sure about Mancini's future, because City have met Pellegrini's agent and so the Cavani deal it's far from defined. He also says that if Mazzari stays at Napoli, Dzeko would be his first choice to replace Cavani, while president De Laurentis would be more keen on Jovetic.

This is a huge blow if true,he genuinely is one of the very few world class, clinical, strikers who was 'available' and would have undobtedlty improved us.

Other than Falcao, who else fits the bill?
Zlatan.
I heard he was our backup plan if so I would love that too

need to wait until the new manager arrives and give him a chance to review our squad................only five games to go - so not long.
