Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani wants to leave SSC Napoli. This news was confirmed on Monday by Cavani’s agent, Mino Raiola.

“If Cavani had the possibility of leaving, he would do it immediately, but that possibility depends on the club team’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis,” declare Cavani’s agent to the press.

Raiola went on to state that Napoli’s owner should sell Cavani, especially when the player has lost his motive to play for the club. He continued by saying that 50% of his player is not really all there to play for the Neapolitan club.

The agent concluded by saying that he does not know what will happen with Cavani’s future with SSC Napoli, because he has no direct contact with the club’s president.

Since the Uruguayan star had a superb season last year, it was somewhat expected by many soccer analysts that Cavani would possibly move on to a bigger European club like Barcelona from Spain, Manchester United from England, or even Manchester City.

For now, Edinson Cavani will concentrate with his national team that is participating in the London Olympics

Love how they put United there. They couldn't dream of this, 35-45mill player on mega cash pw. Chelsea have more chance than anybody other than us.

Our club doesn't like being robbed by agents, we lost in the Hazard deal because of it. Raiola will look for a payday here. My heart loves him but head said he will wear dark not sky blue.

Unless Cavani has changed Agents recently, this is more than likely speculation.

Mino Raiola isn't Edinson Cavani's agent. He's got nothing to do with him, he's been trying to get Hamsik - who he is the agent of - out of Napoli. His latest tactic has been to try and unsettle the team.

Reports that Cavani's wife has been attacked in Naples. Don't think she was injured but this could make up his mind for him.

I believe the same thing happened to Lavezzi last year.

The Napoliu president is fookin bonkers - he wont sell him unless someone puts a serious amount of wonga under his nose

Rate Cavani really do but think the transfer fee demanded by Napoli will rule any transfer out

The other day Mancio said something like "Raiola was living with De Laurentiis and they were shooting strong"
I interpreted this to mean hard drugs...? De Laurentiis is an Italian Film Director as well as owner of Napoli.

Cavani is an all round better and younger than RVP imo. Don't know why the club is so stubborn in pursuing RVP, more commissions for the people involved may be?
