Do both teams not have to agree on prices for the semi finals. It would be interesting to see how much Liverpool have sold for the second leg.
For some reason City have not sold any real amounts in any home domestic cup tie recently.3rd tier closed at most of this years.
Agree though the CC is a low priority.

liverpool are well up for this, i think they have nearly sold out their allocations for both games according to a liverpool season ticket holder i know.
Not surprising

1st semi final in years
More supporters than city
Smaller stadium
Less games to pay for this season

More middle and upper class fans as well it seems.:>)

First leg is live on BBC, second is on Sky, perhaps surprisingly being live on terrestrial telly is still a big factor in affecting the attendance.

there will be 1000's who havnt supported the club one jot in the league cup, hopefully taken into consideration when potentially selling final tickets, incidentally a route liverpool have taken for selling semi final tickets, basically rewarding those who watched the earlier rounds.

most people i know are chosing united over liverpool, local rivals and most can not afford the ridiculous liverpool prices. I think we really have a working class fanbase.

Actually Liverpool have treated their fans appallingly with this. They have said any season ticket holder that isn't on the cup scheme must wait until tickets go on general sale. A fan who is just a member and been to one league game is entitled to a ticket before a season ticket holder.
I totally agree with rewarding fans on cup schemes but Liverpool are actually going out of their way to punish their own season ticket holders. Absolutely disgusting. We don't know how lucky we are with our club when you look at behaviour like that

Surely you mean, fans who have been to ONE LEAGUE CUP GAME, get preference over season ticket holders? If it is any league game, that's so wrong.
