"Cedric" Boyata

The best of the back four for me last night after a dodgy opening 15 minutes. Played well, as did Joleon apart from those balls that kept coming in over the top for Mr Offside.

Thought he was bullied by Ameobi in the first half couldn't win a single header against him and very lucky that Cisse missed that chip. Improved in the second half though and considering he hasn't had any top professional games in months it was a top performance. Don't really see a future for him though after the summer as I think Rekik and Denayer are better talents tbh.

Possibly.

He was very good for us until he got sent off against Arsenal then was pretty poor at Bolton and quite terrible really at Twente.

Thought he did well tonight though.

He looked the part at FB and CB until Crappenberg ripped off his pocket getting the red card out. Was never the same since, but last night he looked to be shaping up to his old self. Thought Joleoninho was good too. When's Micah gonna realise he can't run through the wall of a brick scheisshaus?

Agree totally on Cedric Dave.... he has huge talent and potential but seems like he is a confidence player and we just need to build him back up, playing alongside VK would certainly bring him on IMO. On Micah, I cant help thinking that as much as I love this guy, he's gone backwards.... He is an ideal build and athletic enough to be a top class CH and I just wish we could concentrate our efforts into turning him into such, as much as I've always hated the person that is Camel Gob, as a player he was brilliant and that's what we should be looking at for Micah.... just my humble opinion of course :-)

Good squad player, but can he step up to fight for a regular berth? Nastastic, Garcia, Lescott, Kompany, Demichaelis must all sit in front of him for one of the two centre back spots. Even, Richards must be in for the run too.

he may be happy being a squad player for the next couple of years, it would be ideal if we could use him in this way

Denayer looks the best of the 3 to me.

Yep impressed me everytime I've watched him, would be shocked if he didn't make it with us. He reminds of Kompany when in possession.
