Celebrity rant

Trevor Sinclair's not on there. Nor is Bernard Manning. I suspect it's just an incomplete and not updated list.

Wasn't there talk about Alan Rickman at one point? Did we ever get any proof for that?

Marsha Thomason should be on there too. Big blue repping it up in the States. Anyone who watched White Collar would recognize her.

There were a couple Mets pitchers in the away end at Anfield too if that's worth anything.

And surely at this point we can stick Kompany on there too?

Don't think the question of whether Rickman actually was a fan ever got resolved but I don't think anyone came up with solid evidence to show that he was.

O'Leary has also been a Manchester City supporter since an early age. In 2003, he was offered the opportunity to buy a stake in the club but believed the potential benefits did not outweigh the risk and preferred to visit England to watch a few matches each season.

Could you imagine what he would try and do if he run a club.
Make the turnstiles smaller and make you pay extra if you didn’t fit.
As you made your way to your seat add extra charges for using the concourse etc.
Although as he‘s tried to introduce standing on planes he would be a good supporter of bringing back standing in grounds.

As you’ve been told, Susan Bookbinder is a journalist and radio broadcaster (I think she’s on Radio London these days) and a proper Blue from a family of Blues and whose brother John, who died young from cancer, was in the 86 FA Youth Cup winning squad. She still goes home and away on a regular basis and has compered several OSC functions in the South East. Poor form to see her get the “Who???” treatment
Very poor.
Comes from a big family of Blues - with the odd red thrown in there, one of whom is her cousin Elaine Bookbinder, more commonly known as Elkie Brookes. Another cousin (and Elkie's brother) was in the 60's band The Dakotas and the family also ran the ''Bookbinders'' club opposite Chorlton St bus station for 4 decades until not too long ago.
Susan's brother John is the last Englishman to score a winning goal at Wembley for City ;) He bagged the winner for City youth v Chelsea youth in a 5 a side game before the Full Members Cup final in 86 - City won 2-1
Here is John (front) walking off the pitch with Tony Book, Whitey, Ian Brightwell and Glyn Pardoe. Steve Macauley (left) and John Clarke a little further behind

Great post thanks, knew some of that but not the Elkie Brooks bit. My dad used to love Pearl’s A Singer! Great picture too

Yes, it was taken by a random fan at the Full Monty Cup final. Who ever took it posted it to City shortly afterwards saying ''someone might like it'' and it was forwarded on to John! The only City player missing is goalkeeper Steve Crompton (maybe he was to the right of John Clarke at the back?)

Well, by Rag logic, there is no evidence to the contrary, so he must have been a blue.

Was it confirmed if Clive Myrie is Blue? He certainly has a chuckle at the Trafford tribulations.
Myrie is a definite blue.

He had a go at the dipper fan who was doing the paper reviews with him after the 3-0 CL defeat who was trying to be smart. Mentioned City fans don't need to brick a coach or buy a referee to win.
