Celtic Thread - 2021/22

Looking forward to lifting the trophy today. A trophy that our pals were all convinced would not be back for years. Ten titles in eleven years. But they are the team. Fucking delusional. But, hang about, it’s next year they will win it now. Or the year after that. But certainly soon. Ange has just begun. I will repeat that, Ange has just begun, he wins it under so much pressure with so many new players, but it’s them next year. Go figure.
You'll be there today MP?

6.0 Trophy in the bag, now on to strengthen the team again and be ready to go again. We Never Fucking Stop.

Well done to Celtic, and commiserations to Rangers. Some turn around in 12 months. For me. it was Ange who? when he came in; I'd never heard of him.He had a dreadful mess to clear up after Lennon. And losing 3 of his first 6 SPFL games in charge had Celtic fans a bit twitchy. But they didn't lose another game after that. Did Slippy's departure weaken Rangers to the extent they seem to have been? I guess we'll never know. Van Bronckhorst has the same job in front of him, as the Celtic manager had (maybe not quite the same low ebb).

So onto tomorrow and the lifting of the trophy everyone wanted. A celebration of the team and in particular the big Aussie bastard who built it. The board, not known for getting much right are about to offer him a well deserved long term-contract and no plaudits for that from me. If they didn’t they would be even bigger useless cunts than I already know them to be.

no more board/ Lawell Desmond buying players. Leave it to a guy who knows what a player looks like. Everyone will be a lot happier. If he wants a player to move us forward, fucking back him, or fuck off.
In his autobiography, Len Shackleton wrote a chapter entitled, "What Directors Know About Football."

He left a blank page.
