We have improved. I watch them. I do know how to notice improvement. We won’t hear a better team unless we improve. And we now have the CL finalists snd the winners of the Europa. We can be beaten by both and still have improved. We have.I agree with all that but I don’t think beating Slovan is a sign of improvement. You should have battered them and you did. I think we will see genuine improvement once you beat a team that you aren’t expected to. Yes given your budget you have always done well.

I was saying the press coverage you got for beating a team in the CL, that you absolutely should have beaten, was way over the top as if you had beaten Inter Milan.We have improved. I watch them. Your point that you have improved as a team is a separate thing and I take your word for it. Opta agree with you rating Celtic 56 in the World which is the highest I’ve seen you for maybe 15 years, but Slovan are 194.

I can tell you that there are probably only 2 publicly available rankings as accurate as that one and dozens not as good. If you can recommend a more accurate one I’d be quite interested. If you are picking one team out and saying you don’t agree then that’s not as interesting or relevant.Hahahahaha.

I know. It wasn’t the beating of them, it was how we did it. I know where we are in the scale of things, but we are much better all over the park. I am genuinely pleased. Now the next two games against Dortmund and Atalanta are a free hit. No one expects us to get anything there, but we do want both those cunts to know they were in a game.
