So, when you started to invest you were brilliant from the off? We would take Burnley to the fucking cleaners.
That’s not my point at all. I’m saying the press seem to be all excited that Celtic have won in the CL. I’m just saying the team you battered is crap. I know you would also batter Burnley. You also got the easiest draw of all 36 teams (see attached)

Slovan = Burnley not Celtic = Burnley

I absolutely loved watching Celtic on the highlights when I got home late last night. It makes a change that they could actually go for it this season. Wins against Zagreb, Young Boys and Bruges are really achievable and those three, or two wins and a draw should get them through.

I can understand the hype somewhat. The media aren't saying they are a contender because they beat Bratislava. It's just refreshing and entertaining that they can be competitive.

Separating what we saw on the telly last night from their fanbase - which in my experience is made up of mostly fuckwits - is the key.

We have had draws for years where we got the top teams. We were due a good draw. We just weren’t good enough, I am not saying we will go far in it, but for us, to get out of any group is massive. At last our board have hopefully realised we will never progress without our using the money we have to invest.

We get slagged when we get hammered. When we win it’s because of lucky draw, or some other bollocks. That irks me. Why not a well played? You looked good? I suppose it’s a reflection of every **** these days being negative about everything.

I thought we were great. And I know we will get better with the next couple of windows. We will never get to a position of ever challenging to win it, but, qualifying out if the group would be amazing. You need to remember, our whole team cost less than the £50m you paid for Haaland. We do not operate in the same universe.
