A win tonight would have made progress a lot easier, certainly. But we won't be "in trouble" if Barca do the double on us. Home to Celtic and away to Gladbach, to get 6 points to bring us up to 10 points. I'd take it.

Very perceptive on one game our full back positions are our weakness.
 
Some right moany arses on here tonight... Have some perspective.
On my way back now from the ground on the coach and from my view and many Blues on this coach we agree that Celtic probably deserved more from this than us due to their desire for wanting it more.

Simple as, Celtic wanted it more.
We did well to battle back for a point.
We were not schooled in football tonight, their goals were more of the luck type.

I wasn't impressed with Gundogan but I can understand he isn't %100
Second half we were much better, just not clinical up front.
Sergio was invisible, fair play to Kolo for handling him.

He frustrates me because he was outstanding in the air against the vermin.
 
Kolorov had a shocker at centre half.
Zabba was pretty woeful.
Fernandinho diving in and missing everything
Nolito kept making the wrong decisions
Sergio hardly touched the ball in their penalty area

and yet we still should have won

We have to be much better when we play this weekend, never mind Barca

I remember hem winning 2-1 on one occasion. If I remember rightly, during an evening of bus parking.

Imo, there was nothing great about Celtic tonight & nothing wrong with City tactically. But several players were shite.

Had they been decent, we would have won & probably scored more. No need to rethink the style, just the team selection.

Part of that, after the event, is Pep's fault imo for picking Kolarov & maybe also Gundogan. But it's understandable why he did it. But from now on, I think he needs to be wary of Kolarov, Otamendi & what role he gives to Gundogan, plus his fitness. We hav sucked Pep off for his wonderful decisions so far. Tonight, it didn't work.

I think Pep is the best manager of all time, & he has produced the best start to a season I have ever seen. Tonight we showed great character & some great football, easily enough to win. But we didn't win, due to some inept play amongst it.

It needs thinking about if we are to stay on top.
 
CL Highlights on ITV but I'm 30 minutes late, has ours been bludgeoned by the pundits or it's coming?

We got a lot of bad breaks in this game and put ourselves under pressure. Created some good chances and didn't make the best of them.

Sagna and Stones will come in for Spurs game. I think we would have won the game tonight comfortably had one of KDB,Kompany, Sagna or Stones played.

Draw disappointing but not the end of the world. Looking good to qualify.
