Celtic v City post match

Good game, we pressured you as expected and shame we couldn't hold the leads we took, good to see us playing a high line and pressuring ur goalie and defense. Man city could a sneaked it at the end tho

Not the walkover as some expected here, I would imagine your younger fans...no team is invincible ;) good luck for Sunday..
I think a well done to Celtic is appropriate here.

Pep tells BT Sport he is happy from the reaction of the players after falling behind three times. Thinks City 'definitely' should have won.
Pep says the effort from the players was 'amazing' and the draw OK. Points out that the likes of Barcelona and United lost at Celtic Park.

Ah fuck it. Lets be fair for most blues the PL is all that matters in the end. All this does is all but confirms we aint gonna top the group which most of us without our blue tinted specs would have said we wunt have done anyway. Once we get out of the group this result will be dust in the wind. Let BT and Bodger and the secessionists have their moment in the sun the moons Blue for the future anyway. Night all and safe journey back for travelling blues. HBS out

Great performance from you and credit where credits due , although Im disappointed with the result and that we couldnt quite find the winner you battled for a point , I was suprised at the intensity of the first half closing us down not giving us space

Perhaps this result will shut up all the arrogant city fans who were saying things like "They're a championship side at best"

Probably not though

Well , Rodgers managed to destroy our tiki-taka game plan .(Credit to him also that he spotted our weakness in the far spot at set pieces)
Our midfield and defence seemed that they couldn t handle the preassure. Without KDB we are less effective in a transition game like this .

And who cares if Chris Sutton is blatantly getting behind Celtic. I can handle that, he's obviously a big fan f theirs having played for them for so long.

The issue i've had in the past is when you get rag pundits getting behind City's opponents just because they're playing against City. And to balance, tonight, we have Richard Dunne

Well done BT Sport, fair play to you for making the change (although McManananaman is still fkn awful)

There is much worse than this. It is when one of your supposed own actually celebrate when the opposition scores against us. I am of course referring to Niall Quinn tonight.

I think our early tactical changes have been figured out to some extent. Teams pushing us back and getting between our defence and midfield. Its going to be a good test of Pep's skill to continue in the face of a hectic schedule, injuries and some players reverting to type.

Celtic kept their workrate up for longer than I thought they would and we had a few players that had an off day today, but still created more than enough chances to win the game. The only real criticism I have is starting Kolorov ahead of Stones, but there might have been a non-tactical reason for that.

I don't really get the doom and gloom at all, to me that game was a game played with a great spirit from both sides and a pleasure to watch. Celtic playing at home is always a difficult game for anyone.
